We bought the oval Keepsake & the colors work just fine in our small living room. Even my husband likes it. We have a couple cats, so I needed a rug that would stand up to their playful claws & it has shown to be sturdy enough to do so. The dark & medium blue colors, & reddish color are just enough to make me happy as those were the 2 colors I wanted in a rug without being over saturated. It blends in well with all our colors. (We have a predominately indigo blue chair & some rustic reddish color in our decor mixed in with various other colors). We do own a non slip pad & have wood inlaid flooring, but I was pleased to realize that this rug didn't slip & so use the rug without the non-slip pad. It can slide some when sitting at a chair & you might scuff your feet across the rug. The rug is not super heavy, which is good for cleaning & moving around myself. It is reversible, too.
